I don't know how many people agree with me, but in my opinion the Benchmade 531 Pardue is a superior version of the Bugout and should not have been discontinued.

Hmm.... I see the opposite.
I had a 531 and enjoyed it a lot. When I saw the Bugout, I saw basically an upgrade to the 531 in ergos, blade profile and blade steel.
The fact that it had a clip designed for deep pocket carry sealed the deal.
I gave away my last 531. The new owner enjoys it though.
