I see that SMKW still has the Lohman diamond sharpener for $9.99 in the current brochure.While I would NOT use these on any Spyderco knife, they are a useful adjunct to the Sharpmaker 204 for sharpening damaged or incredibly dull blades.They cut aggressively, for when such action is desired.For rough sharpening only!

Is the angle similar to or identical to that provided on the Sharpmaker 204?

Angle is very similar, with the Lohman perhaps a couple of degrees wider.Doesn't seem to be enough to make a difference on the two knives I have sharpened this way so far.

Please forgive my ignorance..... who's SMKW? I have been looking for diamond sleeve for a long time as a cure for my dull Benchmade.. Would pay a lot more than 9.99, really.
