The last couple batches of Ancient Bog Oak there were a few from here that wanted blocks that had not been stabilized.
So....I am trying to decide how many I should hold back. The rest will be going to K&G to get stabilized.
If you think you would want any untreated blocks, please make a post or send me a pm with how many you would want. This is not a commitment, just getting an idea of how many untreated blocks I should put into my web store.
These blocks are about 6" x 2&1/2" x 1&1/4"+. Probably $65, figured ones a little more.
My friend in Ukraine sent me a box of 2090 year old Ancient Bog Oak. Where he is, there is a war going on. He had to sell off his wood and equipment and was drafted into the army for the war. Now, a year later......he still sends me the best Bog Oak I have ever seen. I am lucky to have such good friends.
Most of these will be getting sent in to be stabilized. But I will keep a small portion untreated so they can be used for pipes and projects like carving where untreated bog oak is easier to work with.
