Unusual Folding/Locking Mechanisms

I love oddball folders. I was really bummed when they discontinued the Hole In One. :( If I'd known, I'd have bought 5 or 6 of them instead of just one.:grumpy: Love that knife. I also have a Snap Lock, but the HIO is much easier for me to operate.

Sorry, I had to 'borrow' this picture from online. I have the knife but have never photographed it.

Here is one of the very few knives that I used to own but no longer do. It was defective and I sent it back to Queen. But it was already discontinued so all I got was a refund.

A very good slip joint replacement for places where locking knives are a difficult carry.

Just ran into another unusual mechanism

Does anyone know where I can buy one of these I have a snap lock 2 and love it would just like a bigger knife?

G&G Hawk gets the knod. I am looking for the RAM Flipper.
Agreed. They have some if not the most innovative knives out there. However some were kind of not so great. Loved the RAM, the lock button however was in a slightly awkward spot for right-handed people. The E.T. closing mechanism could lead to nasty cuts. The MUDD while awesome was kind of heavy and felt slightly off-balance to me...

Another Hawk design that I didn't see mentioned is the D.O.G. IIRC, CRKT manufactured it.

Btw, the Hawk ti lock might be the only CR knife I would buy.

I wish I had the chance to handle any and all of these. I've had none of that yet, :(

The only ones that really pop out for me is the Nirk Tigh and the Hawk ti lock.
They all look really fun to mess around with.

Thanks for keeping the thread slowly ticking

How about the buck paradigm's shift lock. I love playing with that thing.

I wonder when/if the FFK will be on sale? Anyone have any ideas on how much estimated price of that would be?
