Wonder what knife he brought? Wonder what trail. Both long legged folks but if it only took them an hour to hike it must have been a relatively short one.

Mountains to Sea Trail, parallels the Blue Ridge Parkway. They cruised down BRP till I assume the Secret Service gave the ok, then out for a quick 1 hour hike. Been here in Asheville all weekend. At least he is getting out and enjoying some outdoors time, it is a nice area for it.
 
A few years ago one of Bush's secretaries whitewater rafted down the Salmon River, one of my rafting buddies said he was taking a dump on the groover when he looked across the river and saw her on the beach across the way, doing the same. He said he smiled and waved. Apparently the Secret Service wear suits while rafting, haha...
