Rat Worx MRX, Tanto 2 Tone

Rat Worx USA (Research and Testing Worx, Inc) is a class II firearms manufacturer that designed chain drive automatic knives from the early to mid 2010's made by Guardian Tactical. They were supposed to be superior in durability and functionality. A typical side opening auto should open 20k times before failure. Rat Work tested a knife and at 400K cycles, although worn, was still functioning. With that, they figured that if a pilgrim from Jamestown had a Rat Worx and opened it three times a day, for 35 years (statistical average for a working automatic knife in the US) and handed it down, that pilgrim's current day descendant could still be using the knife now.
Nearly indistinguishable from new overall condition. Please note, any white specks or anomalies that you see in my pics are dust particles and smudges. I assure you the knife looks nearly indistinguishable from new. Never been used, carried or sharpened. Two tone CPM-154 blade is perfectly centered. No scratches whatsoever on the blade. There are textured grooves on the lower portion of each side of the blade. They might look like "streaks" in a few of my pics. No nicks, chips or rolls on original factory edge which is sharp as sh*t. Absolutely zero play in any direction. Hands down, it has the most solid lock up of any side opening automatic knife I've ever tried. Hard anodized aluminum handles have no scratches or any signs of wear. Very smooth "controlled" action. Chain drive knives just inherently do not kick as hard as traditional side opening autos. This is a characteristic that is noted in many YouTube review videos. So if you're expecting a knife that jumps out out your hand when blade is deployed, this is not it. The construction of the knife is surprisingly simple and there is an instructional YouTube video made by Rat Worx that shows how to reassemble the knife. Comes as knife only. No original pouch. This particular model last sold for $300.
