Best method of getting people to crank down the stereo in a public camp ground is to "appear" in their site, and ask nicely, I find that politeness works very well in the shocked "how the hell did you get here" state

We are fond of on obvious person in the 'front door' and another quiet approach to the rear.
"Hi guys "

I've been on both sides of the coin. When we were younger we were the loud drunks. But we did shut up when asked.
The funniest was the guy way down the hill that yelled
"Will you PLEASE shut the *&^* up!"
Had to laugh and give in.

Polite works more often than not.

Don't know about shooting people, never tried it and don't actually plan to.

For those that don't get the polite approach, well...
Keep me up and you'll wake up early.
"Quiet time" ends at 7AM.
I usually start with Wagner's Ride of the Valkyrie.
Followed by "The World's Greatest Marches" CD
I tend to forget stuff in the car as well... thump, thump, thump.


Please, turn your car alarm off.
We don't want to hear it every time you go get another something out of your trunk. If you are that worried, put it on when you go to sleep for the night and turn it off again in the morning.
