Admission: $5.00 for both days
Ladies and those under 18yrs old are FREE with paid companion.

If anyone runs into Mike Alsdorf, give me a heads up. I haven't heard anything out of him in a few years. Unsure if he's still making knives.

I saw Mike at the 2015 show but he was not at the 2016 show on the Saturday that I attended. I don't know if he's still making knives or not but I'll shoot you a PM.

He is still making knives, however his work schedule has changed and he has not made several of the last monthly knife club meetings. I'm going to check out the table registration and see if he had a table reserved for the upcoming show on the 28th & 29th

I checked the table registration and Mike Alsdorf will have a table at our show.

If I'm not mistaken, he sold his non-knife business a while ago and was making full time. Then he started working again in addition to knife making. I believe he also moved in the process. I will talk to him at the show and get updated contact info.
 
I LOVE Mike's work. I used to own several of his knives. I am glad to hear that he is STILL making knives!!
 
Don't know how I missed this thread for the past week.:confused: Anyhow, I'm planning on going Sunday. Last year was my first time attending the show and I really enjoyed it. There was a little bit of everything, from beautiful customs all the way down to cheapo junk knives. They even had a table set up in one corner for kids to learn flint knapping. If you are in the area it is definitely worth checking out.:thumbup:


I'm also glad to hear Mike is still making knives. It's seems like it's been a while since I've seen anything posted about new stuff he's made.

I am heading to the show on Saturday - want to hook up and ride down?

I am not 100% sure Maggie is joining me, but I think she wants to attend and hit Pappy's for some ribs afterwards.

Thanks for the update!

I'm going on Saturday as well but I'm waiting for Renee to decide if she wants to go or not. If she does go, she wants to visit some other places in the area after the show. (health store and an apparel shop) In that case, Renee and I will drive down separately. I'm not sure yet but I'll get an answer from her soon and let you know.
