This one is not out yet but ready for heat treat. I'm gonna target around a $200 price point maybe a touch less.
.156" AEBL and fully cnc machined.
For once I did not design the blade! An employee of mine we will call Josh did the initial concept as he wanted to learn the CAD software and 3D printing. After a handful of revisions everyone in the shop was impressed with the overall size and feel of the 3D print so we decided to roll with it.
We wanted thinner edge geometry so we used a "tab" at the front of the knife instead of ultra low profile toe clamps. In some ways it complicates the machining and in other ways makes it easier.
Kydex is super low profile and will use 1/8" rivets but the slots are set up for standard 8-32 mounting options such as ulti-clips, tek locks and any belt clip with a 3/4" spacing. Everything is pretty compact so pocket vertical and horizonal carry all work.
Grips are pretty slim too and on this I think we will just do our tank tread texture but could do smooth grips as well if people want them. Id estimate they will be released at the end of September or early October.
If any one has any feed back on sheath and/or grips let me know as we haven't finalized them.
If anyone has any tips on sharpening a Tanto let us know as well because tanto's will take a couple extra steps!
