Upcoming Sales and Pre-Orders Announcement Thread

Alright boys, I'm getting ready to launch several projects. I'm tentatively aiming to launch the swords this Wednesday and the Fell Chef and Super 8 shortly after. I know it a little unorthodox to launch several models at once, but its necessary for me to bring these to life and get them delivered quickly, and I promise, I will make it work with deposits etc...I will have pricing details for options finalized soon as well with some killer pricing for the launch.

First, we have the Super 8 and Fell Chef.

The Super 8 is my concept for a mid sized, do it all field knife that blends maximal cutting performance and comfort with durability.

The Fell Chef 2.0 is the refined and updated version of my original Fell Chef I launched back in 2017. Its a hard use, outdoor chef knife. I worked hard to make this a real, high performance chef knife that can take a beating. It will be equally at home at the campsite or the kitchen.

These are both fantastic, highly utilitarian models that I can guarantee will see a ton of use in your lineup. They are coming in at what I think is great pricing for the launch and have a multitude of options.

SUPER 8
.200 Z TUFF+ Z WEAR
8 in blade
13.5.in OL
16.5 ounces with micarta scales.
$450 base price but will have an extra discount for launch.

FELL CHEF
.187 Z TUFF
11in cutting edge
16.4in OL
22 ounces with micarta scales.
$550 Base, but will have extra discount for launch.

*Note the removable pinch grip scales are not accurate on this model. They will be 3/8th thick and will provide a nice resting place for the index finger and thumb when using a choked up, chef style pinch grip.

Next, we have the one everyone including myself is waiting for.... the Bush Waki Mega and The Tyrant Katana Magnum Opus.

These have been a massive undertaking we've spent several hours a day, every single day for the past 2-3 months getting every last detail worked out. Both of these models will be unlike anything on the market.

The Bush Waki Mega is probably the sword you want. Coming in at a whopping 35in overall, it's a Wakizashi in name only. Coming in at an aggressive price point for launch, this is the most fun you can possibly have for your $$ in 2026. The Bush Waki Mega is built to be used hard. It features a highly robust 24.5in blade that will have serious power. To round it all out, we've incorporated a fully hidden tang handle assembly with a steel guard and a CNC milled steel pommel. The blade features a unique compound bevel for increased cutting performance and durability. Plus, it kind of looks like a hamon, which is cool. These can be dressed up or down with options, but the base model is an incredible value if you ask me. The only compromise we had to make for the Waki is that the handle will be permanently affixed, meaning scales and components can't be swapped out, so choose your handle material wisely.

BUSH WAKI
.200 Z TUFF
35in OL
24.5in blade
Weight 3lbs on the dot
$1,250 base but will have extra discount for launch.

The Tyrant Katana Magnum Opus is the most complex and demanding project I have ever undertaken. I've done everything possible to be faithful to the enduring Katana concept while utilizing modern materials and manufacturing processes.

To strike the balance of aesthetics, performance, and durability, we've had to incorporate literal aerospace level engineering (no joke) into several components and processes. Just designing this sword was a huge challenge, making them with a high level of fit and finish will be another.

I'm looking forward to spending long days doing fine finishing and assembly work on these. My promise to you as a customer, is that each and every one of these Katana's will be made and finished to the absolute highest level of fit and finish that I am capable of.

We still are finalizing a few details but will have a render for you shortly.

I'll have the launch date, specs, and pre-order instructions for these posted shortly.

Thank you for putting in the hard work, these blades look amazing. Are you going to offer the regular version of the Bush Waki too or just the Bush Waki Mega only?

We werent happy with the kinetics on the regular Waki, so the Bush Waki Mega will be the only version released along with the Tyrant Katana, so we are down to just two swords.

Super 8and ChefThese are literally the guys I absolutely need.

Both are big enough, but still small enough to take with me wherever I go.

Awesome work, seriously, I’m extremely excited for them.

I’d also be very interested if the Fell Chef had MagnaCut as an option, because it’s literally a kitchen knife — quite large, or say perfect for barbecue/carving.

It would be interesting to have either Z-Wear or MagnaCut.

^^^^
Also, I think a thinner skeletonized handle and a strong emphasis on minimal weight would be really interesting.

I’ve used the Air Mini, and honestly, I really loved the concept.

If the Fell Chef repeated those same ideas and was even lighter — even if it came at the expense of some durability — I’d be totally fine with that.Basically, a much more lightened version with a more slicing-oriented geometry.

I could work up a hyper-lite version in the future!

I’m debating between what I want my first to be. Either one of the fell beasts, chef, mega boner, or the super 8.

I honestly do not know. Granted it would be great to see photos in hand of them before I make a decision.

I know the fell beast is just a hair over 1/8 does it feel too thin to beast through stuff?

If we're talking about the price you pay and the number of utilitarian features you get in the blade, it's the Fell Beast.

My first blade from Huntsman was the Tyrant, then the Fell Beast, and later the Air Max.

And you know, I was literally a machete skeptic.

But when I first used the Fell Beast...

Oh, man...

IMHO, even the Huntsman logo kind of reminds you of a calling card.

Try the Fell Beast.

You'll understand the geometry and the ease with which you handle the blade yourself, and you'll realize it's the toughest steel on the market right now.

And then you'll want the Tyrant too.

That’s about what I was thinking too. But his new models look sweet especially the chef and the fillet boning knife. lol rough like making a choice of which I want haha

Well, look, my opinion:
If anything, I'll end up getting both the Super 8 and the Fell Chef 😅

But if you currently have nothing at all, then:
You absolutely have to try the Fell Beast to get acquainted with Z-Tuff steel in the heat treatment that Hunter does, because right now, there's nothing tougher out there.

And once you've gotten to know the Fell Beast, you'll want all the variations of these blades with this steel, this heat treatment, and this exact execution they're made in.

I'm serious—before the Fell Beast, I didn't really like machetes at all, because they seemed to me like something not very tough and not truly capable of heavy chopping.

And the Tyrant and the rest—you'll want them already because you'll see what this steel and the blade as a whole are capable of, because your thought will be something like:
"Oh, what if this was a chopper..."

That’s part of why I’m debating on just going for a chopper lol.

Z-tuff Tyrant, man, you know, it’s really in a league of its own.I honestly can’t even compare Fell Beast and Tyrant.Fell Beast is fast, light, you know — it’s basically a slicing/chopping weapon, seriously. It chops like crazy, I’m not even kidding.Tyrant though — that’s a straight-up tank that can also slice beautifully at the same time. You know, I cut meat with the Tyrant… but yeah, I’m crazy and brave enough to do things like that.

That was my assessment too. The fell beast is cool and all but something about a big ass Bowie is cool too.

The fell beast is like a much larger upgraded Junglas.

So idk… could see a couple in my collection and get both.
