The Battlestation (terrible name...) looks very interesting. Lots of intricacies to the design, I'd like to see one up close. From the description, though, (G-10 scales with VG-10 steel) I don't see any merit to the pre-order prices I'm seeing online...

The Bob Terzuola design stands out to me, but I think I rather see one of his designs from a different company like Benchmade. I rather see a titanium handle and no Spydie hole on his design, the double bevel is very attractive though.
I only would get rid of the hole, otherwise the knife is outstanding, feels great in the hand even little bit on the smaller site (I have big hands...)
I had a chance to hold it on the SHOT show, I'm getting it in the moment they start shipping those..
Here are few pictures, sorry for the poor quality...

I'll be getting a Double Bevel, but only because Terzuola designed it.

...costs too much...

My original Lava cost just under $100 in 2008 or whenever they came out. The recent Lava is $140+.

The US Made G10 handled Spydercos with premium steels like S30V and S35VN run between $100 and $140.

I think it has something to do with the state of the US Dollar vs the Yen, but I could be wrong. Regardless, people will still pay whatever it costs (to a point, obviously) to get a design that catches their eye. I thought that the G10 Lava was too expensive, for what it is, at $140, but I bought two of them because the design is unique and Spyderco knows how to build a knife.

I like the Karahawk but it costs around $320 here where I live so I don't think I will be getting one soon

By the way I saw this video on youtube with Eric Glesser talking about some of the new models at Shot Show 2014

Not much love for the Friction out there, I think this knife looks amazing. Can't wait to feel it in the hand and the pouch is a nice touch.

Also, the Roc. Wow, quite a blade there.

Like the Firefly but dont understand the price. Most shops I see have it listed around the $200 mark. It is a sub 3" liner lock folder with G10 scales and VG10 blade steel??????? Dont see much value in it despite liking the design.

Roc
Tatanka
Kiwi
Firefly

I'm very interested also in the super blue ladybug, dragonfly, and endura.

Roc

Tatanka

And I'm considering the entire sprint run collection (won't happen) I can dream lol

I'd like to see some of these in zdp-189. Hope they come out with them.

Tatanka just to whip it out in a Starbucks to slice my scone.

This would be the first scone I've ever had.

This would also be the first purchase I've ever made at a Starbucks.

^^I personally don't care for Starbucks or their scones. But, whipping the tatanka out there would definitely send the masses running.

Ditto.

Spyderco is advertising their ZDP-189 knives separately although my ManBug ZDP-189 (always on my keychain) is missing from that ad:

I like the Mike Draper, Kiwi 4, and the firefly but none of them really do it for me. Lately Spyderco's new designs haven't been hitting home. I think it's because I'm still stuck on my delica, endura, and para 2. I don't carry my sages or my manix or my military or anything else. The blade shape is what gets me on them.

Any update on the Friction Folder?

at the Shot Show, Rebecca said they were having QC problems and the release is delayed.
i was trying to get my hands on a sheath for my de Leeuw.

I preordered a Roc, I've got a couple of Serge's knives and I really like the look of the Roc. Of all the collaborations I've seen, no matter who it was, it seems like this one is the closest to what the maker would have made in his shop.

When are they going to be released? It feels like I've been waiting forever!
