So someguy I sold a knife to last week complained on here last week about me without notifying me about his displeasure about a knife. I told him on several occasions id return it if there was any problem. Well not only did he lie to me and you the readers about my integrity. I forwarded him the check in good faith and as I expected im out 83 bucks. No contact. Listen when I say 100% satisfaction guaranteed I mean it. The mods were even on my side on this. don't know if im aloud to bash the" freak" publicly. But send me my knife. I have several other Spydercos that I am willing to post but don't want to get in this position again. PM me if you wanna know who this ------- is. I don't want u guys to get stuck too. Look, I love this site and spend a lot of time here my seller rating was 100% before this guy hope you all give me another chance just wasn't fair. Trust me this isn't about money for me. its supposed to be about fun.

I think the guy just up and bolted out of BF. I noticed that he had a few going away sales in the Sales Forum after he posted his thread. From this end, it seems like he was only here for a few deals to get up a few feedback and then burn someone. And I also wouldn't be surprised if he came back under a new username either.

Would you mind posting or at least PMing me his name and address so I can add him to my own personal blacklist? Thanks

There's really no need to jump to conclusions.

There's been a few members that in the past rather then say they made a mistake or at least just explain their side of the story choose to leave instead. Nothing new.
 
The deal was off from the beginning. The buyer claimed he had no way of receiving pictures on his cell phone, even though Lee offered to text. He simply complained about how he had been ripped off, not bothering to contact the seller. I asked the buyer to posst pictyres, and he did, only after he sent me a Pm explaining that his cell phone did not allow him to use "data or pics", and he didn't have internet service at home. Later that night, when he was home from work, he...yes, posts pictures of the knife from the internet in his home he said he did not have.
 
I got a kick out of seeing his passive-aggressive "leaving the hobby sale" threads or however he originally titled them (he has since changed the titles). I also think his profile picture of President Obama as an African tribesman is just oh so classy.
 
According to his profile, he was on the forum yesterday, late afternoon (6:17PM MDT), so he still sticks his nose in from time-to-time.
 
I had an unpleasant experience with him a few months ago - he paid via PayPal gift and I reversed the payment, requesting him to pay via goods. He then whine and complained about how it was my mistake to not make it clear in the thread and so on. I also explained to him about buyer protection, as well as violating paypal tos, to which he said he has been using gift payment for years without a hitch, nd so on. The deal was off. Anyways, I found it surprising behaviour.
 
Someone please answer this for me: If the seller is paying the fee anyway, is there any benefit to the buyer using gift?

Personally, as a buyer, I just refuse to pay gift, even if I have to cover the fee, and I don't need to go over why as I would be preaching to the choir. BUT, when I see postings like this from a recent sales thread......

Leeble, if this is too much of a hijack, post up and I will start another thread in feedback for this question. Hope you get your knife back.

To Rev Devil: Not from home. From my cell phone, man you can't read for anything. Again , for people who has No Common Sense- Not everyone who has smart phone has Data plan that will allow them to send pics from the cell phone. Go argue that with CBW.

To Inective: if you check I have new posts, so how did I "bolted out"? Get your facts straight. Instigate is easy.

To phillll: keep trolling, you doing good.

To leeblee611: send me e-mail (as you promised long time ago) I will send you picture of receipt from PO. Your knife was sent out yesterday. Check deposited on Friday 08/09/13, cleared by my bank as of yesterday Tuesday 08/13/13.

To choombak: sir you are liar, you made a post, without specifying payment method(pp Gift or add 4%). You were the one who was "wining". I refunded you immediately. You were the one who was sending me Paypal educational e-mails.
 
I can read just fine, and my comprehension is spot on. The problem, yet again is that you we unreasonable from the beginning. I offered to help you with the problem you perceived. Had you been less defensive and not acted pedantic, we wouldn't even be here. You are the one that started a thread to begin with. Don't try and belittle people without making sure you cover your own bases first. Maybe you should reread my reply to your original thread for the sake of accuracy.

Since you publicly call me a liar, I am forced to respond: I did specify PayPal as a payment method, just not the goods part since I assumed it was common sense. You could have simply asked me in doubt. When you purchase something, do you make a payment as money owed or goods? Come to think of it - you actually ABUSE PayPal by subverting their regulations - when you claim gift payments for years without a hitch. On seeing you were a new member, I politely tried to inform you about buyer protection and goods payment - actually in your interest, not mine. And wait - I was the seller, so *I* refunded your payment.

I will NEVER do business with you.
