Thanks! I'm stoked. I've collected a lot of knives over the years. Got some from my dad when he passed away. Have a few that he had over in Vietnam. Those and the one he made me a year before he died are my faves.

I think 10 days to 2 weeks... but really 2 weeks, not the proverbial 2 weeks... :D

However, one never can tell...

Very nice! I'm looking forward to it being my go to blade for all kinds of tasks.
 
I REALLY regret not picking one up when they were offered at the store... I didn't think I needed one at the time but now I do.
 
I get that--I passed the first time around on the LE, but then I came to realize that the ~4" blade length was just about perfect for the daily stuff. So when the CG was offered, I jumped. I've had a few of those regretful "damn, I should have..." moments. I try not to think about them...
 
And here we go...

I love it--great weight and feel/ ergos. I asked to make it a bit thinner behind the edge, and it feels just right. And it's sharp as hell... Black w/ Black G10; Patriot Leather sheath--wearing it behind my back right now.

Thanks guys--the SOB pull light kitchen duty this evening... early Turkey Day prep was a breeze. Yep, very, very happy. I've had a couple different knives of this size, but this is by far my favorite. The SOB is a keeper; and yes, love the sheath--fits like a glove.
