UPDATE 5/5/12: Dispatch510 is NOT a scammer, just a lack of communication.
I just got a package from Dispatch510 today so I'm happy and so is my brother. Only thing missing is the black scales but the orange ones were all my bro cared for, so I won't make a fuss about 'em.

I would really like to thank the members who went out of their way to offer my brother a knife for free. That was truely kind of you dudes.

UPDATE: Dispatch510 has contacted me and informed me that he has had a death in the family and that my knife will be on it's way.

Hey guys...On 4/8/12, Dispatch510 and I agreed to trade my buck 112 + sheath for his bk14 with scales. We agreed to ship simultaneously the next day. I did my part and provided a DC# but he didn't, and hasn't replied since. My end arrived at his location on 4/14/12. He hasn't replied to any of my emails or messages despite that he has been online at least twice. The guy has been a member since 05' and has 1 + feedback, so I trusted him. The crappiest part is watching my little brother check the mailbox every morning (bk14 was for him).

He is a Police Dispatcher, call police dispatch and talk to him!!

And if your little brother does not get his knife, sent me an E-mail or PM. I am sure I have a knife around here that might hold him over.
 
I hate to see when this crap happens, how old is your brother? If you have the saved e-mails of the thread where you agrred to terms, print them out and get them in the hands of the police in his home town, or postal inspectors, that is mail fraud. Good luck to you

Allen, thanks for the advice. I'll be printing them out asap. My brother is 12 and he planned to use the bk14 on our summer camping trips this year:/
 
I am sorry to hear this. I hope you can at least get in contact with him and find out what is going on. Looks like he was last online a week ago. Maybe something happened to him?

I'm hoping the guy isn't hurt or anything. But the fact that I sent him multiple emails Before his last login gives me the idea that he's ignoring me.
 
Hey guys, I'd just like to say that Dispatch510 emailed me today to apologize for the delay and that he's had a death in the family. He said my knife will be on his way.
 
The offer still stands if the knife does not suit him, just let me know!!
 
Sorry to here about the death, but also glad your little bro is not out of a knife, I too was about to take a look in the drawer and see what I had that I could send your little brother, anyways glad everything worked out.
 
Thanks guys, that's really generous of you. But even if this hadn't worked it self out, I would have bought him one. Thanks for the kind words, you guys are stand up dudes! I'll keep you guys posted as to when he gives me the DC#.
