Update: It took 5 bottles of Heineken and 1/2 hour with AOL tech help but I'm back.

I emailed AOL tech help, followed instructions, failed, went back for more help, tried again and got all my files back. Never could have done it without the 5 bottles of Heineken.

I always said God took care of drunks and crazies and since I fall into both categories I'm IN.

Only a 1/2 hour Bill? :p

Was that before or after the Hold time...

During.

I've got 5 more bottles of Heineken in the frig and I'm going to drink them all. And I got a new keyboard that's spillproof. I'll test it with water but not my Heineken.

I love it when I can pull things back up out of the ashes. I just told Yangdu I'd recovered and she said, "that's because you're such a hardheaded SOB."

You sound alot like me Bill.:D

Now if I could only find a good woman that isn't on Drugs or a drunk I would be set.:)

There's something to be said for hardheads.

I think it goes along with the saying "You can tell a flight test engineer, but you can't tell him much!" ;) :p :D

Remember Pruitt for "Here to Eternity"? Best damned soldier of the bunch and the best man in my books. But I loved the Sarge, too, just like a brother. Great book and great movie.

Bill

Glad you're still in the land of the living. :)

That earlier post was a real shocker. I should remember not to believe everything I read. :D
