Update: My thoughts on the Professional Soldier

USPS was on the ball this week, mine's already here from Texas.

Great little utility knife, it's already made one trip around town as a necker. :)

Hmm, interesting. I inquired about this with CRK in March because I was considering buying a CRK fixed blade. It didn't seem right that they were all listed at 55-57 RC. Alycia told me the actual hardnesses were the following:

Professional Soldier is 58-59
Nyala is 58-59
Green Beret is 55-57
Pacific is 55-57

I thought they had this fixed on their "old new" website, but it looks like it's incorrect again on their newest website rendition.

If the PS is still 58-59, that's a point lower than folders. If it is 59-60, that would be awesome!
 
Got the knife in tonight.

First attempt at dressing mine up, sheath sure makes it impossible to do a full handle wrap, but this works pretty good.
