Update Notched a grab hook into a Bk4

Thanks KJ I still have some tweeking to do. I have to scallop out the hump behind the hook so it will grab larger diameter branches. Not much just a touch. The hump is actually causing some branches to be lifted over the hook.

Cool mod Tanker!
It's all about making the tool work for the specific task. I like it!

Does it change the feel of the "bite" when chopping, or does it still feel about the same?

Thanks Jonny. I beat up an old sapling with it after reading your post, If there is a difference I haven't noticed it.I also thru it on postal meter. 14.9oz I am not positive but I think the Bk4 is 16oz. I still have on stock scales and hardware.

Wow I could have used that last week when I was trying to top some branches out of a bush/tree growing by my deck, I couldn't reach them to pull then down! If sharpened it could cut with a quick pull too, cut limbs, cardboard, gut hook, rope could also be used to quickly hang the knife out of the way when not using. Good idea with few drawbacks!
