Bill I went through the same thing with my father he had heart problems from rheumatic fever as a child. They had installed a pacemaker, he suffered renal failure but the pacemaker would't let him go I watched him go from a active boy scout leader to a wisp of him self. I could see the love in his eyes but no way to communicate it.He is at peace now and enjoying the rewards of a good life on earth. My prayers are with you and your family. May his pain pass and his spirit be lifted up to soar with the eagles.
