I talked to the guy who I sold my knife too. He gutted two wild hogs with it and said he even hacked some bones with it. After he cleaned the blood and gunk off he said it still shaved the hairs on his arm. He was very impressed by that. This being the first knife I sold, well needless to say I was nervouse about how he would like it. From what he told me I would say that he was a happy camper. I felt kind of proud and tried to be as humble as possible and just told him that I was glad he was pleased. I owe that experience to all you guys who helped guide me to this point. I can't wait for the next one.

The more you make the better you will get. And the next one will be better than that one you just sold. I can see you are the happy camper ----------

That is a great feeling knowing your product can do some work. I sold my fourth knife to a guy that guides hunters for moose in Canada. I got the same response.

Get ready for more orders... looks are one thing, performance is another. Nothing sells a hunting knife like performance.

Congrats PanchO! It is best to have customers that will really appreciate the work... Recently a customer has called me and complained about my knife; he said he is not happy with sharpness of it... Not the dullness, sharpness :grumpy: :(. He cut his finger twice :D... I said just cut some cardboard or a lot if you dont want it that sharp :)...

You're right I guess . I would defend myself that he is not aware of the safe cutlery usage even though I warn each customer of mine about the safety and maintenance issues...

The responses like PanchO received really encourages me to improve my skills and to make more knives, however some incidents like this one really pisses me off, and believe me in my country knife making is real hard - customer satisfaction and finding supplies-wise...
Sorry for hijacking your thread PancO :o...
