Update on the 25

I can't wait for this one to come out!! I can't wait to get a feel for the 25, im hoping i like it!
 
Thanks for posting those pics!

Side by side with a 21 that 25 sure looks good. It has extra beef in all the right places! It really looks like a flat grind even though I know it's hollow ground. It also looks like the tip on the 25 would be fairly substantial, not as thin a taper as the 21. Any chance of a spine shot comparing the tips for thickness and grind?
 
This may help -- I asked Heather about prices and when the production version of the model 25 would be released.

Also, whether there will be a small 25.

And finally, what changes -- if any -- there might be to the Insingos.

Here are the answers:

"Thank you for your interest in the Sebenza 25. At this time we have not settled on an exact price but expect it to be comparable with the prices of the Sebenza 21.

"We are working on getting a large right handed version in production before we commit to any other variation so I don’t have an answer regarding the small (25) or Insingo blade.

"I am not sure when the production version of the 25 will be out but we hope it is before the end of the year."

I know that it's doubtful, but I would love to see the s35vn's hrc bumped up a few notches for the Sebenza 25.

The more I look at it/think about it, the more the Sebenza 25 seems like the perfect CRK to me.
 
End of the year? I got hopefully within 9 months.... :confused:

Either way, im stoked about this one! I got my order in nice and early :thumbup:
