Update On the Status of Things : Coyle Outdoors

Congrats, Dex. Site looks great. I hope it works out well for you.
I know where to turn when I'm in the market for more gear.

Oh, and while we're all editing and nitpicking for you, do your micarta scales compose Baroque music? Or are they merely handles? ;)

Well, They might be able to help you write some counterpoint. Thanks man.

Hey Tate, not to be a pain but, the ZT knives page still has both typos, and the BK5 still says "Drop Point"

Thanks again Kid. See what I mean about it not saving. Ugh. I fixed that and the next day it was back. I think my internet connection sometimes goes crazy and stuff doesn't go thru or something.

Can someone who has the bk11 scout carry sheath tell me how the belt loops are attached to the sheath? The website states you can make it either left or right hand draw. Just curious how you would do this. Thanks

Hi DJ.

The straps are attached to the body with Chicago Screws. So they are easily switched around to have the snaps on which ever side you need, making it left or right hand carry.

There you go, straight from the horse's mouth.

I highly recommend Dex's BK-11 sheath. I have been wearing mine a lot and haven't been easy on it. I have worn it in pretty much all conditions (hot summer days, soaking rain, bitter cold temps) and it still looks great. It is very comfortable and easy to put on your belt. Once it is on your belt it does not move around. I have not noticed the knife slipping out at all and have zero fear of it doing so. The Chicago screws that hold the straps on have not loosened at all and the snaps hold nice and tight without being a pain to snap shut like some other snaps I have used before.

Dex has also kept in touch with me to make sure the sheath was holding up and that I was happy with it. That says a lot about his customer service in my opinion.

Here are some pictures showing the color I got.

Whoa, that sheath is very nice. I'm probably getting the light brown.
You just answered another of my questions which was if the knife stays securely in the sheath.
I guess this will be my Christmas gift to myself.

He DJ, If you are interested in one, just shoot me an email with your phone number and I will give you a call this week.
