Lighten up Francis. There's any number of reasons his blade was done the way it was done. He said there was a nick in it. They fixed it. You say its a "botched up repair". I'm glad you have the experience to pass this judgement since you never saw the knife and you weren't there.
As for parts for sprint runs, in a perfect world parts would be available for the next 20 years. But its not a perfect world. Kershaw will offer to swap the knife for equal retail value if the customer isn't happy. Fair enough for me, considering I'd bet he didn't pay full retail for it.
And you cancelling your preorder for a LE just means someone else that really wants one will get it. So no harm there. ZT will still sell all they can make, and you can pedal your buggy on down the road.
