UPDATE! With New Post Sharpening Photos. Blade Damage Repair?

A 1000 grit stone will make easy work with that. I'd only drop to a 400 grit to save a few moments.

You don't need to buy a new blade, just have it sharpened. Send it back to CRK for a Sharpening job. There are straight up better sharpeners then CRK but its better for selling the knife. "OEM edge" :D lol

I recently purchased my first CRK on the exchange and found that I’m not a huge fan. (I know this is blasphemous) I did not think that much of the small dings in the blade when I recieved it and did not state that I had any issues with the transaction at the time. A month has passed now and I am attempting to sell the knife. I have recieved some feedback from people that viewed my sale post that the blade would require some intense work to correct the dings. I naively did not realize this. How difficult would it be to fix the edge? Would it be better to simply buy a new blade from CRK?

As others have pointed out, I think whoever used the word "intense" was seriously exaggerating. I wouldn't need an hour
on 3 grits of Waterstones.

I'm with everyone else, it would be casually easy to very quickly sharpen those out.

I was getting that kind of edge damage weekly so I went from 40 deg inclusive to 50 deg and it all went away.

91bravo came through for me and put one hell of an edge on my Inkosi! It looks great and is hair popping sharp. No more nicks. Thank you!

Not bad for free hand ;) Great work and gesture.

But please call it GRAVY. GRAVY covers Thanksgiving and Pasta night.

Must be a Bama thing .

I put the gravy on the turkey AND the dressing!

It appears that I may have left a slight portion of the chip unsharpened in that last pic, but I contacted Phil and he tells me there's not a chip there at all. Must be the lighting.
