Update

Those knives are awesome! they look pretty damn sharp from herre.

Is it just me, or are the photos with the knives and nitrile gloves freaking anyone else out?

A Runt! Neato. You interested in massively thick steel? (guessing no...)

No. I thought they were 5/32"

They are. But I was sent two bars of steel (01) that is 0.210" thick. I can't figure out what to do with it. I was thinking Runts.

I've got a bunch cut that are 5/32" thick.:D

I like 5/32 but you know a lot of people dig those thick Game Wardens and the Runt sort of recalls the GW's but with a better grind and I more useful blade shape (IMO)

PS from the looks of that "convex sabre grind" you put up pics of I bet one of your larger blades with the convex sabre grind and the thick steel would be interesting.

From the pics anyway it would appear that it would be a good slicer with that grind and then with that fat of a spine it would split wood like a wedge.

You want one in 1/8" steel with a scandi grind?

a .210 large nessie would be kinda sweet.....

Hmm.... maybe after the holidays unless I can get some $$ together...
