• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

I drilled the handle, but the pin holes are 1/8 and I am now pondering 3/16, so that is yet to be decided, the 3/16 sure looks sexy though.

I ground the blade using an angle grinder, it is pretty rough. Then Put it on my coarse Norton, my fine Norton, some wet dry 1000 and a very light buff, and I do have a pretty decent edge (still a few small dead spots though).

I would have the scales done first, but I am waiting to use my workaholic brother's band saw, and got impatient to do something to it, so here we are.

A few paper slices, and some mediocre wood curls, but it is now actually a usable blade, so I guess I now have a knife, just sans handle. More to come as it happens.

That looks great, The bevels look very good. You might want to put a larger hole towards the back of a knife for tubing for a lanyard? Just a thought. Really nice work.
