UPDATED COLORS - BFC W&SS Patch Designs - open for suggestions & submissions

I like the OD and tan #4 versions.

Think you can come up with a skull & crossed knife / spoon logo?

Something like this?

Hahahaha, awesome. Think you can redo it with a more tactical or camp looking knife?

Also, am I the only one who sees "BLooF" when looking at that?

My $0.02:

I like the new green/tan #4 design!

Perhaps modify the current design (#3?) by giving it a more subdued color scheme and replacing the fire with a compass or 4-elements symbol?

I like the skull and knife/spoon, but I agree that knife has got to be less buttery and more cutty.

Just saw this thread. I missed the first round of patches. I'd be interested in a few of the new ones. I like design #4 in the tan or OD. The skull is cool, but I have lots of "skull" stuff already.

I'd love to offer a shirt design, or 12. Hell, if the t-shirt printers weren't so expensive ($19,000) I'd buy one of those and print out whatever designs I felt like, on demand. Until then, we have to make do. I'm not ruling out a shirt, but before I drop $2600 on shirts & screen setups, I want to make sure they aren't sitting around for years.

i've known people with all manual 4 or 6 color screen printing presses in their garage that were NOT more than a few thousand dollars. probably a whole lot less than that. (sorry, i don't know any names or sources at the moment)

however those were also NOT high production presses.

there was a vendor/printer in my area who would print and ship shirts in small quantities to individuals. i'll have to see if they're still around... but i can't remember the name. last time i was there was 9 years ago.

but if all you want is a one or two color press you could probably make it with $100 of parts from the hardware store (not counting screens or squeegees)

I really like the original Mountain and Flames patches,,(if there are any floating around ,,sign me up :D ), and the new "Tan/Olive" gets my vote!!:thumbup:

I'd rather not have any skulls on a W&SS patch. Just my 2 pennies.

For T-Shirts, another option is for Spark to set up an accout at Printfection.com, offering a selection of approved designs and setting the price. The purchaser chooses the design, the shirt type & color, and orders it from Printfection. They print the shirt and ship it to the purchaser. Spark pockets the profit with no cash outlay.

They also have mugs and other doodads to be printed.

spark-this would be a great way to go for tees. have used a similar service for local organizations. fans order the style, color, size etc directly thru the online printer. you dont have boxes full of tees, no trips to the po, no managing orders, etc etc.

there may even be an online source for doing embroidered patches in the same manner as well.

The problem with Tshirts is that we have to order 400+ in order to get the price down to acceptable levels and then there's shipping. And then you get people complaining that they only want an orange shirt, or a gray shirt, or a black shirt or a white shirt and they do / don't want pockets and such. And then there's the various sizes, be it XXXL(+2 per shirt) or XXXSM

I don't mind managing orders, but if we're going to do shirts, I'd like for the forums to benefit more than some third party online print shop that's charging an arm and a leg.

thanks dude. that was the place we use. just couldnt recall the name. highly recommendo

thats one of the things cafepress and others, im sure, are designed for. take some of the work outta it for you, but still profits for your organization.

Another one, foliage / od and black this time.
