I also am a proud owner of a G2 sheath for the BM 42. I can't say enough good things about his stuff. I find that I like his sheaths more the the knives. Not sure of the solution for that problem.

NaTeDoGG, it's not recommend to sharpen the leather....a solution to your problem Tim....sorry if you find one please let Kodiak PA know about it!
