Is there a sharpener in the sheath? I ask that since the ones from that line up I have do have one. Only time I saw them (the whole Shokey line) was as web specials a few years ago. I bought several of them and they are great little knives but I don't know the history of them. There was the one you have and at least 2 others in the line. Sorry I don't have better info.

Yes, that is it! Was an Impala and Oryx (or some critter like that) also. Seems Cabelas sold Shokey stuff for a while and had some close to it.
 
The paperstone is pretty cool.
 
Mak...what's that fixed blade? like the shape and size. looks really useful. is the blade stock thick or is it thinner for a good slicer/user? thank you Sir.
 
The Shockey line of knives was a Cabela's exclusive a few years back. Buck closed them out on the web specials page for dirt cheap. Those were the good ole days of web specials.
 
I wish they still made them. Good looking version of the 112

Factory Handle. Feels like resin but has wood grain on the ends.
