Buck closed out the 112 version for $18.00...It really was the good ol days of web specials !! It was a fairly limited run too only 750 if I'm remembering correctly. I bought 2 and unfortunately gave both away and now i'm looking for one for my rare, odd 112 collection. I picked up a 482 last year for a blade swap to a 112 frame as I think it will look great with nickel silver and black wood or horn.

That blade looks great in the 112 frame. I can't think of it off the top of my head, but is that blade the same thickness as a standard 112 blade?

I did this one. FG 112 with 450 blade. Blade is same thickness and lock end shape as a 112.

It's surprising how many different blades have been used by Buck over the years. I like the 450 blade profile in the 112 and just recently bought a gold Ion Fusion Buckcoat 450 with serrations for a blade swap to a 112. I like the gold better than the grey..
