Upgrade Basic to Gold Membership

I initially bought the $10 basic membership last month and today I upgraded to the $30 gold membership but there wasn't an option to pay the difference of $20. My account is now showing two (basic and gold) active memberships - is there a way to cancel my basic membership and extend my gold membership accordingly? I checked the FAQ and couldn't find anything about it. Thanks!
