Can I upgrade to a Gold membership without using PayPal at all? I have searched but haven't found an answer. One thread I found asking the same question was closed after someone stated this question had been answered but no link to that answer was provided. I have found the page where you can upgrade using a credit or debit card but that appears to be processed thru PayPal also. Is there another option?

Not what I wanted to hear. I have been researching for awhile and decided this was the place to sell my knife collection but I really really don't want to involve PayPal at all.
I hate to ask on this forum but are there any suggestions for selling elsewhere. Sorry if this breaks any rules or offends the owners, admins, members, or users of this site. I really need to sell my knives to help pay medical bills.

You do not have to use PayPal to sell your knives here. However, PayPal is used to process your credit or debit card in order to upgrade your account. Buy one of those pre-paid credit cards and use that for the purchase if you don't want PP to have any of your credit card data.
