Upgraded friends account, what now?

I upgraded Dr. Hannibal Lecter's account to gold thursday and it seems he cannot get the change to take effect thru user cp. What should he do ?

If I'm not mistaken you have to use the old manual system to upgrade someone elses account. It sometimes takes Spark awhile to make the change.
