Upgraded Membership -- Please Prorate

Hey Spark, I had about 9 months left on my Gold level account. Upgraded to platinum today. Can you add the months I still had using the prorated method? Thanks
 
I'm curious about this as well... I'd like to go ahead and upgrade to Platinum but am unsure how to do it... or do I just have to buy the platinum and consider the Gold a loss?

No, you buy the Platinum, then post here, and Spark goes in and adds the months you had on your Gold account to your new Platinum account, prorating them, of course. I had 9 months left on my Gold, so I expect he'll add 4 or 5 months to my new platinum account. Problem is he must be out chasing the lag-monster, because he hasn't responded yet.
