I forged this billet with 135 layers of 15N20 and 1084 high carbon steel
Heat treated in my Evenheat furnace to Rc 58-60 with three normalizing and two tempering cycles creating a fine grain throughout the blade
Flat grind
Stabilize cherry handle
Overall length: 8 3/4 inches
Blade: 4 1/2 inches and about 1/16 inch thick at the guard
Leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry
