Upload of file failed

This is the first time I've tried to upload a picture since getting my platinum membership and I'm getting upload of file failed. Not a real discriptive error. Any ideas?
 
Good. At least it's not just me. And for the 1st time in a long time I'm not posting a picture of some hottie. Actual knife content and everything. :D
 
The error messages are in tiny print and not very noticeable. Try it again and really look for the explanation; you'll find it if you look hard enough.

For me it's usually because the file is too large, but there are other possibilities. (Any picture file over 100k is rejected.)
 
No error messages or explanations other than the image upload failed.

Hmm ... is your connection running slow? It's been so long since I've had a file upload fail because of a slow connection I don't remember if it tells you it timed out or not....
 
For future reference, Nordic Viking did a screen capture, not copy & paste.

I'm afraid I'm stumped ... this is a job for the H. P. I. C!
 
Yes, thanks Cougar. It's definitely not working. I noticed it 24 hours ago. I'm running a fast DSL and have uploaded dozens of pics in the past year. I deleted most of them off the BF server and currently have 338 KB free, cleaned out my temporary internet files, boosted system resources to 80% minimum, made sure the largest file I was uploading was only 20K and it still fails with the single error message given as posted by the other guys.

Shouldn't complain as BF has more server bandwidth and speed than anywhere else I have posted, but have several items to sell on the Exchange and prefer to provide pictures.

I have the same problem. Have been trying different computers, set up and made sure file are in specs, have 6mb of usable space. Used it a couple of days ago with no problems. Been attempting for the past 30 mins to no avail. Get error messages that the file is too large when not in spec but error message of upload failed when in spec. I can however upload an AVATAR.

Same error message for me. It started Thursday for me, but I just got it again this morning as well. ???
I am an old fashioned dial-up guy...but it only took about 5 seconds to get the message, after it looked like it was going through. Tried it 3 times...same result...no joy.

OK, we need some help here....can't post any pictures...everything was fine until Thursday?
