Uppercase/lowercase issue?

Can someone explain why the forum software sometimes auto-corrects when you put all of a word in uppercase letters?

I've had this happen on occasion, and I simply cannot get the uppercase to remain. Most times I've had no problems.

On those strange occasions, something like LMAO turns into Lmao, and nothing I do will make it all uppercase.

Like I said though, most times, the uppercase letters seems to stay just fine. There's something I'm missing.

If your entire post is in capital letters, the forum software will alter it to prevent "shouting". If you only capitalize some words and not others, you are good to go.
