UPS Beware!!!!

I usually use the USPS to mail things, but we get a lot of packages at my home from UPS. Occasionally, we see a different driver, but that's always at unusual times.

Our regular driver comes within an hour's framework. He doesn't waste much time, but he always waits when he comes to our house for our dog to shag down a tennis ball, which he then throws once for her. You can tell he's a dog-lover, which makes him all right in my book.

Most of our packages arrive in fine shape, though a few appear to have been in the wars.

I do agree that I'll not ever be part of having my packages searched/inspected. Isn't this America?

The thing that really gets me is when you pull up a tracking page, and the item is listed as "Rescheduled" delivery Man, that chaps my ass! Rescheduled? Who the hell is paying for this shipping in the first place!?!?

The San Bruno, Cal. UPS facility has opened and inspected packages for at least the last couple of years...I don't think it's a very nre policy, just a slowly spreading policy.

As for employee theft, I know a few UPS internal investigators, and was offered a job, once, to be one, but it's a near impossible job mainly because of the Union, and the majority of the theft isn't from the package handlers...it's from another portion of the company, which I'll leave to everyone's imagination...
