I wasn't aware there was adverse weather happening. All the snow here in KY has practically melted in the past 48 hours.
This is a dire first world problem I'm having.:(

I think everything we shipped via USPS on Monday got delayed a day out of North Carolina and we did not have that much coming down! Hopefully your 1st world problem will be solved by tomorrow!
 
Aha I'm so used to shipping via usps..I've been following a direct link from the sender and not even noticing it was ups, not usps.
 
I feel your pain man. Got one of those last week. Its crazy but the delivery showed up 5 hours after I received that message from UPS.
 
I'm hoping it's some sort of generalized message spamming all tracking east of the Mississippi.
 
I emailed ups and the gist of the issue is...even though the snow has cleared up, they're still backlogged from the delays they experienced several days ago.

If it doesn't come today I'm hoping it's no more than a day late.

Keep me in your thoughts.. :sorrow:

Same here in sc, I sent a package out on Monday that got delayed a day as well... Then a package I was expecting from tn went out Monday and was the same thing.
 
That's a beautifully functional looking knife. Hopefully it wasn't too delayed. I've had USPS nearly lose a couple of packages of mine, and the stress is indescribable.

What is it, and how are you liking it?
 
I hate ups. Our local driver is a dick. If the package needs a sig he'll walk to the door and leave the notice without ringing the bell. I had to yell at him a few times when he was returning to his truck. A lot of times the packages are squashed. The local kids like breaking his Windows.

That's severely disappointing, as my local UPS driver and facility is of great service and quality, to where I know personally and enjoy both my driver and some management. If not for the cost, I would happily ship via my local UPS over USPS almost any day.

Interesting how such things vary by locality.

More than anything, to stay on topic, I'd love to hear about that knife!

This sounds like our usps lady...she constantly leaves packages/mail at the wrong house. Ive watched her be too Damn lazy to get out of her truck for packages that won't fit in the box, and proceed to toss them out the window into the yard, flower bed, porch, or wherever they happen to land.
 
It's a John Gray Thuck..cts-xhp blade.. not sure which generation it is.

It's actually a ways off from what I like to carry and use everyday, but I've wanted one for as long as I've been cognicent of high end custom knives.
 
Very nice! It's quite different from the knives I carry/have carried, but certainly a nice design. Do you plan to put it to use?
