Quick question. Alot has been said about UPS both good and bad. I ordered 2 knives last Tuesday and if they show up today it will be 8 days. Is this the new normal time??? it used to only take 3 days to get stuff from San Diego to Albuquerque. Just courious, no rant. BTW they were shipped on Tuesday.

Normal transit times for a package from coast to coast with UPS is 7 days. So 8 days from CA to NM is extreme.

All the UPS shippers I deal with give me a tracking number as soon as they ship. I wait till the day after they send it to me and find out from UPS when the package will arrive. So far, on time, which can be a week or so, but sometimes less.

thanks, it took them exactly 8 days to get here.But they were worth the wait!!
