Upswept forge finish bowie

My first finished blade from the Comet leaf spring. Forge finished that is. 10 1/2" blade, 16" overall. Guard is 1018 and the rest of the fittings are wagon wheel wrought iron. Its also got an ironwood handle.

Nice Ray ! I have always loved that upswept ( persian ??? ) style Blade . Padrig , thats pretty funny :D Don't feel too bad though , I feel like doin that everytime I pop in here :)
 
Ray that looks good, is this guy a reenactor, cause that forged look sure looks aged. Another nice job on the hardware as well. :thumbup:

I'm not sure about the reenactor part. Said he was after one to use.
