This hunter has a nice high deep hollow grind with a scotch brite satin finish . It was ground from 1/4" O-1 tool steel . A slight tapered full tang and a rounded blade spine . Rc.59 heat treat by Peter's H.T.

O.A.L - 9-1/2 "
Blade- tip to handle is 5"
Sharpened edge- 4-1/2"
Width- 1-3/8" at the ricasso
Handle - polished green canvas micarta
Sheath - 7 oz. veg tanned leather .

Fine looking hunter Jack. Nice deep grind on that blade. 8 inch wheel? I use that same Micarta from time to time. One of my favorites. Good price on a knife that will be handed down through the years. Nice work!

Yes Mike , It was ground on an 8" wheel . It is what I learned with and what I stay with . Maybe I'll try a 14" some day but really don't need to now .
