Pthffffft!!!! Ale is water, meant only to be mixed with stouts for black & tans... Man, I gotta tell you guys everything... :D :p :D

Since "Stout" (An extra-dark, almost black, top-fermenting brew, made with highly roasted malts.) is in the general "Ale" Family (The term for a brew made with a top-fermenting yeast) as opposed to the general "Lager" Family (Any brew made by bottom-fermentation.) you might want to adjust your "Beer Goggles" a tad and try something new. :D

Guiness Extra Stout is a nice low alcohol content beer for clearing the taste buds between tasting stronger brews. ;)
