NICE!! looks like an Urban is in my near future, it looks like it would be just the right size for my small hands

Very tempting, weighs the same as a Salt (2 oz.) very light :)

I was hoping that the price would be a little lower though, same price as the UKPK, but VG-10 instead of S30V hmmm.

But that Orange Wharncliffe is cuuuute :D

don't understand why people "hate" fg. Look nice to me
the comparison shot are

Thanks for the shots.
Does it "feel" comfortable in hand?
Looks ok in your hand. (large, med, small hand?)

Thanks!

Thanks, I just wish I had a better lighting setup available.

I usually wear a size L or XL glove; my fingers aren't particularly long but my palm is very wide (fat :p). Yes, the Urban is very comfortable - I can get a good grip with thumb-through-ring-finger, and my pinkie-tip rests on the very end. I.e., my pinkie can't quite wrap around the handle (as it can on a larger handle like the Delica's) but I certainly feel like the grip is solid.

(Solid enough for anything I'd do with a slip-joint. Not dissing slippies just pointing out the Urban is of course not meant to be a meat cleaver.)

will these be available for a while ? or should i buy right now while they are available ? i really want that wharncliffe one.

will these be available for a while ?

This seems to be a new addition to the lineup (as opposed to a sprint run or a pre-limited release, like the various Kopas). I do recall Sal stating (on the Spyderco.com forum, I believe) that the exchange rate has made their margin on this model smaller than anticipated (yes, despite the relatively high price compared to the UKPK).

I never take it for granted any Spydie model I like will be around very long. I assume the ones I don't care about will be available forever. :D

I got my Orange Wharnie Urban today.

Extremely happy.

For any doubters, this is truly an adolescent UKPK. It fits a much bigger grip than you'd think. The cutting edge is scalpel like, and it carries nice and light. The wire clip lets it ride low.

Full Torx construction and G10 grippier than my Para from Golden too!

Worth the $95? I'd say so. The lockbar is perfectly tensioned. I CAN NOT close the knife one handed, and I've got fairly strong hands since I work with them every day.

"Feel"
Thanks MGSALDIVAR, just what I wanted to hear. My small hands will do well with this knife.

You don't happen to have a UKPK or CalyIII that you can snap a shot of for comparison would you?:) The Urban being a descendant of the above.
