While it's got some gimicky stuff in it, for $25 bucks, it looks like it may be useful in your urban survival kit.
 
It looks to bulky to go in my evac kit, and it otherwise duplicates items which I already have, which pack smaller. Some multifunction devices are just too much IMO.
 
I've seen a similar though smaller multifunctional one that offered a combo of Flashlight, Siren, and smoke detector. The only thing on that one that was any good was the siren, and I'd rather have simpler tools like a whistle.

This looks much better than what I have seen before, and might actually be decent. The price is certainly nice.
