I sold a locking knife and it's my understanding that sending knives to NYC is illegal.

Anyone have more solid information?
 
It's not illegal to my knowledge!
The DA in Brooklyn was the major stir of controversy!
I have sent a few knives into NYC with no issue.
 
From my understand the issue with legality is that the State law makes gravity folding knives that lock illegal.
However NYC further refines that law to make just about any locking folder illegal.

You've shipped folders?
 
That DA is out of his mind... People get knives shipped to them all the time. What are going to do start checking every priority box that goes through NYC .
