I went with a Bark River Bushcrafter - I love it.

Noce choice - it's an excellent knife. The ergonomics are top notch, and the blade design is subtle genius.

Buck 113 Ranger - made in USA, retail runs less than 2/3rds of MSRP, 3 1/8" blade and wood handles?

There are many knife makers here that make bushcraft style blades with an old timey flavor. I am in the process of getting a modified Kephart and a Hudson Bay camp knife from Scott Gossman, and waiting to receive a Kephart from Matt Liesnewski.

Less expensive options might be David Farmer. He makes some fine blades, which you will really like.
