USA made folder about $100, one handed open?

There's a Kershaw Bel Air on Amazon for $136. It's a bit over your price target, but for a USA made folder in Magnacut, that's crazy cheap.

The CRKT M16 series are in your ~$100 budget. All are flippers though.

I am partial to the to the discontinued M18 myself as it looks m ore cvivi and less tactical.

I know some people think it's a goofy knife but check out the Case Russlock.

I've carried this one for years.

Nobody has ever called it goofy.

Buck Bantams are super cheap, simple, anerican made one hand opening knives.

If you can live without a pocket clip, (and don't mind orange), you can currently get a Buck Pursuit w/ an s35vn blade for $100 or less. (Standard green with a 420hc blade is even less yet).

And while they don't get a whole lot of love around here as a company, Bear Ops (Bear & Sons) also has a couple options, like a Rancor IV w/ a 14c28n steel.
Disregard. Mixed up brands.

How about a Buck 112 Slim Select. $31 from the Buck Store on the big river site. It's smaller than a 110, 3" blade, slim, one hand opening, reversible pocket clip, weighs 2.7oz, made in USA, lifetime warranty.

I'd be wary of the Bear Ops knives. Though they claim to be made in the US, it's likely they're outsourced and assembled here.

I'm pretty sure that's the case with their automatic knives as well. Made elsewhere and put together here.

Fair enough... I personally don't know one way or the other, but I can say I did pick up one of their auto out-the-side knives in CF a little over 2 years ago, right when PA finally repealed the auto knife ban.

It was my first auto, ran me about $100 on sale, says made in usa on it, and I still got it, still use it, and I'm still not disappointed w/ the purchase.

I’m just now realizing I mixed up Bear Ops with their Bear Edge brand. My mistake.

Yep, I said I got it on pg 1 and I got it for $100 excluding tax and shipping.

I believe CRKT M16 or M18's are not USA made. I have a couple of these myself. CRKT does have a Made in the USA section.

Thanks. I have not been actively shopping knives for a while.

"Back in the old days", it was fun for me to page through catalogs to see what was on offer. Now-a-days, I find it less tjan satisfying to aimlessly scroll and click through someone's website.
