Looking for a US Knife company that puts out a quality folder that's sub-$100. (other than wr. Case)
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is available! Price is $250 ea (shipped within CONUS).
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/
I think I'm going to go with a "Bear and sons" mini trapper
Maybe GEC is the way to go. I have been pouring over there selection. I was having trouble finding the right combination of size to configuration/style.Buck Knives.
I'd go for a GEC that comes in under 100; they are great knives. Also, depending on your options, you can get a Custom Shop Buck for just under $100. Not too shabby...

If you're planning on buying one knife that you use every day and not become a collector, absolutely DO NOT buy a GEC. I came here last summer to find one knife because that's all any sane person would ever need. I went with a GEC and now I'm shopping for a larger case to store my knives in because my collection is outgrowing it's home. :grumpy:
There is only SAK if you want to shoot in the dark and don't miss the quality target![]()
