i will start off. i forget where i saw my first ad for a sebbie, but i ordered one from crk just the same. it was an ats34 large model very plain with crooked grind lines. so off the bat i decided it would be a using knife. i went to sullivans (famous for randall sheathes) and had them make me a pouch. the pouch and knife went on my gun belt (yeah i am a tampa police officer, almost 20 years thanks hold the applause) the lazer sharp blade came in handy when i had to cut a prisoner down who hung himself with a shoelace. yes he lived. i was amazed at how it could peel plastic bumpers off of cars at crash scenes. note the edge will need a touch up on a flat stone if you try this at home. i have droped the knife on the concrete floor of the jail more times then i would like to admit. its amazing the abuse that this knife can take. im sure that i could send my knife to CRK and it could be made like knew. its been used but really not abused. to me it was inxepensive and money well spent for a quality tool and companion. i try to get young cops to buy such knives but most cant afford them. when i cant carry mine anymore i will pass it on. now its time for your stories
my small sebenza is/was a regular bought three years ago and see's constant use in the daily uses a landscaper would have as well as a handyman around the shop, home. It opens bags of fertilizer seed, opens bales of straw, cuts rope ,branches burlap rootball wrapping, strips wire, cuts hoses, tubing and various other materials. It is used moderately to hard often and is awesome. heck it even went white water rafting yesterday although it was not needed then thank God
No abuse yet ( I don't ever really plan on abuse) however, I just got my Large Lefty a few weeks ago and it has cut open some bags, boxes, and last week cut my Porterhouse at dinner (it seemed appropriate at the time).
