I love the look and feel of a Spyderco, awesome knifes, however I EDC a Leatherman Skeletool with me. Working in IT, it's quite usefull at times, out of intrest the people that EDC Spyderco's what do you find you use your knife for most of the time, and what model do you carry?

:DWelcome to the Forums.
I carry a FRN Delica 4 and I use it to cut zip ties and plastic wrap.

I have to unwrap bicycles so cutting tape is made easy by a full serrated blue dodo. and I always have an FRN dragonfly on me. For formal occasions i have a Lava. But sometimes i switch it up to my benchmades and kershaws.

When I carry a Spyderco, it's almost always a Caly 3. It does anything that a sharp edge or point needs to do from IT work in a warehouse to trimming bushes around the house to shaving fuzz sticks and trimming stuff out of a dog's coat in the field.

Unless I know I'm going to need a knife for a specific purpose, my average everyday go-to Spyderco is the Delica. It rides nicely in my watch pocket, and I've done everything from cut down large cardboard boxes to peel apples with it.

i am a auto painter, so i use my Wave Endura to cut plastic overspray sheeting, trim tape, open boxes.. etc. at home i use it as a letter opener.. dvd case opener.. etc. its always on me where ever i go

Most carried lately is a tie between my CPM D2 Para Military and SE Dragonfly. Anything that a good cutting instument can handle.

Two constant companions of mine are the Milllie and UKPK.
If size is an issue for you check out the UKPK, as well as the Caly3. :D

I switch around periodically. Currently, I am carrying/using a Tasman Salt SE, mostly on plastic straps, boxes, opening letter/packages, etc. Also my Salt 1 PE, which lately is being used a lot as a fruit knife, and cutting other edibles away from the kitchen.

I have the Delica 4, white, frn handle. I absolutely love the knife! I used it today to cut open 10 bags of river rock for my back yard. It's light, tough, and one of my favorites.
I like it so much I am going to try and grab a few more of different variations.

ZDP/CF Caly 3, Para Military for something a little larger. Lava lives in my back right pocket.

I love the endura for EDC, its large enough to take care of just about anything. And light enough that it doesn’t bug me in the pocket.

Endura 4 with wave : current EDC. Cut almost everything (anything softer than steel of course) with it. Just last night I had to cut zip ties and thick electric wires.

Millie CF/BG42 : another EDC that doesn't get too much use. If the Endura is still serviceable (still sharp and not broken yet), why would I want to use a $200 folder ? :D

I'm working full time this summer so I'm free to carry what I want. I've been EDCing this big fella so far.

I cut boxes, open letters, cut up food at lunch if I need to and anything else around the office I can use it for.
